COOKIE POLICY
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how QUANTETICA OÜ uses cookies and similar technologies on its website at www.quantetica.com (the “Website”) and in its client portal (the “Client Portal”). It should be read together with our Privacy Notice and our Website Terms of Use.
1. WHO WE ARE
1.1. The Website is operated by QUANTETICA OÜ, registry code 17544537, registered office at Narva mnt 7, 10117 Tallinn, Estonia, email: general@quantetica.com (“QUANTETICA”, “we”, “us” or “our”). QUANTETICA is the controller of personal data collected through the cookies described in this Cookie Policy, except for third-party cookies, in respect of which the relevant third party may also act as a controller.
2. WHAT COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES ARE
2.1. Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow the website to recognise your device, remember your settings and collect information about how the website is used.
2.2. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels and scripts that store or read information on your device. In this Cookie Policy, the term “cookies” covers all such technologies.
2.3. Cookies set by us are first-party cookies. Cookies set by other companies through the Website are third-party cookies. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the period stated in section 4 or until you delete them.
3. LEGAL BASIS AND YOUR CONSENT
3.1. We use strictly necessary cookies without your consent, because they are essential for the Website and the Client Portal to function securely and to provide the services you request. The legal basis for any related processing of personal data is our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3.2. We use functional, analytics and marketing cookies only with your prior consent, as required by Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (the ePrivacy Directive) as implemented in Estonian law and, for users in the United Kingdom, by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003. The legal basis for any related processing of personal data is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
3.3. When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner allows you to accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies or choose which categories to allow. Rejecting non-essential cookies is as easy as accepting them, and no non-essential cookies are placed before you make your choice.
3.4. You may change or withdraw your consent at any time through the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the Website. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. We record your cookie choices and ask for your consent again after 12 months or when we make material changes to the cookies we use.
4. COOKIES WE USE
4.1. Strictly necessary cookies. These cookies enable core functions such as page navigation, security, load balancing, protection against fraud and abuse, authentication in the Client Portal and remembering your cookie choices. The Website and the Client Portal cannot function properly without them.
4.2. Functional cookies. These cookies remember your preferences, such as your language, to provide a more personalised experience.
4.3. Analytics cookies. These cookies help us understand how visitors use the Website, for example which pages are visited most often, so that we can improve it. Where possible, we configure analytics tools to shorten or anonymise IP addresses.
4.4. Marketing cookies. These cookies measure the effectiveness of our business-to-business marketing campaigns.
